Bully

So my Annika was bullied today! She is in 2nd grade. The students were dealt with appropriately. I don't think they knew what they were doing was inappropriate. The teachers immediately took action to which I am grateful.

I cried.

Anni signed "more food" this morning. It was clear as day, brilliant!! 8/8/2009
"Uggh....this .com is boring. I want a different .com." Gavin
"We have a smart family." Gav said this while we were in the library. The librarian gave a little chuckle.
"My name is Sprocket Rocket Missle Face Adrienne Missle Face Adrienne Gavin Urvina" Gavin
"Don't drown, Anni don't drown", Madi talking to Annika while in the bathtub.
"No", Annika 7/18/2009
"You know the state like Hanna, but it starts with an 'M'" Madi, "Montana?" Mom (It is sad that that is how she relates, on the other hand what a smarty for doing word association!!!)
"Did you know Canada has lots of rainbows. When I look at the map at school it shows it has lots of rainbows." Madi
"My favorite word is SCRABBLE" "Scrabble means Scrabble" Gavin (On a side note we don't even own the game Scrabble and have never played it with him!
"The number of the day is 3600" Gavin out of nowhere!!! "No Gavin it has to be 2 numbers. It has to be 12, it can't be over 12, 3600 is too high" Madi
"My name is Spirit like the horse, and I am a dalmation, and I sound like a husky" Madilynn
"I''m doing things Frenchly" Gavin. "Oh yeah, what does Frenchly mean?" mom. "It means French." Gavin. "What does French mean?" mom. "It means relaxed" Gavin.
"I am going to scare those leeds away" translation I am going to scare those weeds away. Gavin
"Go to bed Madi, becuase you have a fun day planned for tomorrow." said mom. "As long as you don't ruin it!" says Madi. (She soooo got in trouble for that one)
"Sharing is Sharing", "Jumping is Jumping", Gavin's new way of explaining himself.
"You can't run but you can hide" Madi says this as she is chasing Gavin.
"I am on the level chimney" Madi. "Umm, do you mean champion?" mommy says.
"I'm the dancer" Gav said this instead of playing one of the instruments on Guitar Hero
"You can't put pillows on top of the chair Gav. You could fall off and hurt yourself. And, no you can't have any more chips" said Joe. "Well, then I will just try something else." said Gavin. (Apparently he didn't hear the "NO" part)
"Do you want to know what I am allergic to?" said Gavin. "Nothing" mommy replies. "I am just allergic to bad words." says Gavin. "Oh, Ok!" replies mommy.
"Dada" Annika
"Daddy, you forgot to clean the kitchen." says Gavin.
"I like these shoe towels" Gavin says this about rugs.
"If you eat fruit it will make you helpy" - Gavin (healthy)
"Apples don't come from trees, they come from the store, silly" Gavin
"My name is Madi and my nickname is Madilynn" - this according to yours truely
"When I grow up I want to be a Daddy" - Gavin (he has a great rolemodel)
Don't leave, We have to stay together! - Gavin says this heartbreaking line as Joe or I have to leave for work.
Ma Ma Ma, Ba Ba Ba, Da Da Da - Annika
"I don't like the dirty popcorn. I like the clean popcorn" Gavin says this about the sticky carmel popcorn. He doesn't like his fingers to be dirty.
"I just don't love this class" Gavin says this at the beginning of his new primary class.
Mom asks"How old do you think I am?" Madi responds "64" Mom in reaction"Grandma isn't even that old"
"I like the fixed pickles". Gavin likes whole pickles not the sliced kind.
"That's the wrong word" - Gavin when we say something he doesn't agree with
"I don't like my choices" - Gavin
"I'm just a kid who likes apple pie". - Gavin
"It's jacked up, huh, Dad", Madi says this to Joe while he has the entire computer taken apart.
"I'm a tough kid" - Gavin
"I knew he could do it" Gavin says this while at the Mariners Game.
"This music makes me dance." Gavin says this at the Mariners Game.
"It is not called lucky", Gavin says this to me with teary eyes as he shows me his "little bit bloody" knee.
"Daddy, you have a hurt face"! Gavin says this to Joe about his scratchy beard.
"Grandma is making me a blanket with sticks", Gavin says this about the blanket grandma is knitting.
Madi and I having a conversation about Annika. "Mom, Anni is going to live with me and you can have sleep overs!!"
Gavin says to mom when she said she didn't get any chocolate. "We will get you some you just have to be patient!"
"I was scared of the Lightning Fireworks, Daddy" Gavin says as he describes the thunder and lightning we had during the night.
Madi,"I want to be a cowgirl when I grow up!", Gavin,"I want to be a horseboy."
"This is a girls room, I'm gettin' outta here!!!" Gavin says this as he walks in the bathroom while Madi and I are playing with some makeup.
"I want bumps when I get big." Translation: Gavin wants big muscles. I am sure glad we got that clarified.
"Mommy, did you know that Daddy is a real Superman!", Madi came up to me very serious and told me the news. She then said it was because he had big muscles. Joe is going to eat this up!
"But I want the sticky Thomas!" Translation - We have a Thomas the train that has magnets to attach other train cars. Gavin calls the magnets "sticky".
"Mommy, I saw a guy with no hair, Hee Hee Hee, Mommy I saw a guy with no hair, Hee Hee Hee, Mommy I saw a guy with no hair! Hee Hee Hee!" (Gavin)
"Look mom, I'm gently hitting her", Gavin says this to me as he is barely touching Annika with his finger.
"It's a mumu-cycle" says Gavin. Translation - "It's a motorcycle" says mommy

Madilynn

Madi is our headstrong beautiful first born. She loves everything animal. Her favorite at the moment are Arctic Foxes. She wants to be a cowgirl and have a farm with 100 horses. She loves the barbie movies and any horse movies. She is on the go all the time. She is an over the top Daddy's girl. They bonded right away. She has told me(mom) on occasion that she loves daddy more!! She absolutely adores Annika and plays so good with Gavin.

G Money Man

Gavin is our mischevious sweet middle child. Gavin is all boy. He loves playing video games, Buzz Llightyear, any "bad guy" action figures, cars, and toy guns. He is the master of getting into things he is not supposed to. He has stealth movement when it suits him!!! He is also kind hearted and very loveable. He loves to cuddle with mom and give mom kisses. He actually is quite a character and can keep our household laughing. He is very sweet with both of his sisters and we hope he keeps being so genuine.

Annika

Anni is our content and unconditionally happy baby girl. She loves to be held and talked to.She rarely cries and is always good for a bright smile. She is our social butterfly. She is always waving her princess wave to all she comes in contact with. She loves music even mom's sad attempt of singing. She is a bit of a mama's girl. She is a adored by all who meet her. She has a magnetic personality.
