Dancing Queen

Madi has been taking dance for two years. I finally took my camera to class to show you our little ballerina!!

She has so much fun during class with her friends. And, Yes, she is a head taller than all of them. The class age range is 3-6. The three little girls behind her are friends and are about a year younger than she is. They are on the short side and Madi is on the tall side. Still--very cute!

Woodland Park Zoo

Over Spring Break this year my sister-in-law Valerie and I took our kids to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle. We had a completely great and exhausting day. We had 6 kids between the two of us. Some of the highlights were the Zebras, Giraffes, and the play place.

Here is my little Gavin. I don't think he could get any cuter!

Madilynn and one of her favorites the Lion.

Mom, Madi, Gavin, and Annika. Anni was such a trooper. She loves being held and hardly made a peep the entire time. Like a completely good and insane mom, I did forget my camera. So thanks Val for the great pics.

Annika update

Annika has been thriving lately. She is so lovable. She has been cooing and talking to us. She will smile on occasion but not for the camera, not yet anyway!!! She has been sleeping through the night since we came home from the hospital. She is great. It did surprise me the other night when she woke me up about 12:30AM. I go in her bedroom and she was on her tummy! She did that on Apr. 23rd. Although, she is so patient I wonder how long she had been there like that. It wasn't a fluke either. She has done it several times since then. I do know that my other kids didn't do that until they were a lot older!! I guess those weekly therapy appts. are working!! That and her determination. This girl is going to be an Olympian!!!!
Here are a few pictures of Annika. No smiley pics, coming soon hopefully!!

Toothless Smile

She did it!!! We finally got the second top tooth out on Apr. 10th. We have been trying to convince her for a very long time that she can just give a little tug to get it out. She would then proceed to freak out and not let us even look at it. She wanted it to just fall out on it's own. We were having family pictures taken on April 10th and broke out some serious bribery. But it was a no go. So after pictures we took the kids out for ice cream and it happened. Go figure!!!

Happy Anniversary!

Joe and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary. I can honestly say that I love being with him just as much if not more than when we first met. Joe, you are a great husband and an amazing father. I couldn't have chosen anyone better to spend eternity with! I love you. I look forward to many more years as your wife.

On a side note. My scanner doesn't work properly and all of our pics from when we first married were with regular film. My how old that makes me feel. Oh well I guess!!! But here is a bad copy of one of our engagement pictures.

Twilight

So, thanks to my sister-in-law Keri, I have completely ignored my family for the last few days. She loaned me the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. I have completely read Twilight and the sequel New Moon. They are so addicting. I had to use all my will power not to read the teaser for the next book. I can't start that now. I have to give a talk in Sacrament on Sunday!!! GRRR.... It is amazing how a few words can completely captivate you. I now have to go clean my house that has been neglected and play with my children.

Yes, we are still alive!!!

I have noticed that our family blog has been neglected for the better part of April. We do have about 5 post we would like to do but just haven't found the time to download pics and update you all on our lives. Adjusting to a family of 5 is kicking our butts!!! We are doing great and keeping incredibly busy. More to come...Soon, I hope!!!!
