Last night, for family night, we carved our pumpkins.
We started out with 2 pumpkins and 2 gourds.
Madi and Gavin coloring there gourds while Joe cut and gutted the pumpkins.
The kids didn't like the aroma of the freshly cut pumpkins and the ooey gooey bits that came vomiting out of the hole. Of course it doesn't help when Joe makes a puking sound.
This is a proud Madi with her kitty pumpkin and gourd.
Our little super hero Gavin.
We had a great time picking, planning, cutting, and displaying our pumpkin creations. Stay tuned for the kids' Halloween costumes.

Your pumpkins turned out great!
Those are so cool...we have not been brave enough to do pumpkins with our kids yet. Maybe next year!
