A day at the pumpkin patch.

Saturday, October 13, 2007 we went to Spooner Farms. We met up with Jeff, Val, and their family and with Grandma and Tara. We first started off with the pumpkin slingshot. You can get tiny pumpkins 3 for $1 and shoot them at a target. If you win you get to take home a giant pumpkin and put your name on the "I did it board". A few years back Joe did win this coveted spot on the board, but there was no glory this year. Oh well, I guess there is always next year.

Gavin had his first taste of how fun a slingshot can be.

We then entered the corn maze. This years theme was wild west. It was fun and very muddy. It was an eventful afternoon. Madi and Tara were lost in a gigantic corn maze for a moment. Joe, Jeff, and Val had a corn fight with some rock hard kernels. They had a fun time but the innocent bystanders that got pelted didn't think it was so funny!!! That is what you get when Val and Joe are together.

Madi and Tara were joined at the hip the entire time.

We then enjoyed some hot chocolate and apple slices and caramel. After this delicious treat we all went back to our house for some homemade chili and scones. And of course a little Madden football for the boys.

An yes, I was there at the pumpkin patch. I am the one who takes the pictures. Joe doesn't take pictures. So it is rare for there to be a picture with me in it.
