Grandpa and Grandma Simmons surprised us this last weekend with a visit. They came to play with their grandkids. We played hard, as you can see from the pics below. The kids were so excited to see them that they didn't stop going the entire time they were here. Grandma brought blankets made from "sticks" as Gavin called it. She knitted each of the grandkids a blanket with their favorite colors. She brought them fun things to play with. She got Madi a cowgirl hat, Oy!!! and Gavin a buzz light year toy. And little Annika a dress and dolly. We love it when grandma comes to visit. The kids loved it. Although, now Annika doesn't know what to do with herself now that she isn't being held 24hours a day!! I am pretty sure that Grandma and Grandpa will now be sleeping hard! We wore them out.
We even managed to snag one extra day with them. Grandpa lost his wallet in Utah, (later found) and they couldn't fly home with out it. So they had to wait for the USPS to deliver the package. A little drama and stress over that and we were able to get one more day! We love you and we hope you can come again soon.

How fun for them to come up! That must have been wonderful for the kids and for you.
Well, you had to put up the fond memories so we would miss them even more! And we do...
Grandpa won't give me horsey rides like Madi!! You guys are so special.
We celebrated Grandpas birthday at 12:30 in the morning getting off the plane and driving back to Vernal. Grandpa got 2 hours sleep, Me, about 21/2 hours. We are still kicking.
